The generic runtime test fails for all four variants: rtty-nossl: No executables in the package provided version 9.1.0 rtty -V does print the version, but its log library writes to syslog when stdout is not a terminal. The harness captures the output through a pipe, so it gets nothing. The override matches the version string built into /usr/sbin/rtty instead. It compares whole NUL-terminated strings, because the binary also holds source paths like rtty-9.1.0/src/main.c. Tested in the CI test container (aarch64_generic, main) with the snapshot packages.
